The OC Music Center located in RSM (Rancho Santa Margarita) is all about kids, music lessons, school band rentals and good service. We also have a sister store located in Laguna Niguel called Tim's OC Music. OC Music offers acoustic guitar lessons, piano lessons for children, other musical instruction and private music lessons for the most popular musical instruments such as electric guitar lessons. At OC Music you can receive violin lessons, viola lessons, cello lessons, piano lessons, acoustic guitar lessons, electric guitar lessons, bass lessons, percussion lessons, drum lessons, drum set lessons and voice lessons. OC Music also offers woodwind and brasswind instruction including flute lessons, clarinet lessons, alto sax lessons, tenor saxophone lessons, trumpet lessons, trombone lessons and baritone lessons.

In addition to specializing in music lessons and musical instruction at our South Orange County location in R.S.M., we also provide musical instruments for rent to beginning music students enrolled in band and orchestra classes at schools in CAPO, the Capistrano Unified School District - CUSD and the Saddleback Valley Unified School District - SVUSD. If your child is enrolled in a beginning instrumental music class in the Capistrano Unified School District (CAPOUSD) or the Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD), or even a private school in the area, then OC Music Center is a great place to get an instrument to rent or even rent-to-own for your school band or school orchestra. We provide high-quality violin rentals, viola rentals, cello rentals, flute rentals, clarinet rentals, alto sax rentals, tenor saxophone rentals, trumpet rentals, trombone rentals and even baritone rentals.

OC Music at RSM offers many other musical services to South Orange County in addition to music lessons and musical instrument rentals. In fact, selling acoustic guitars and electric guitars has been our stock in trade since 1979. We service all guitars and carry a full line of accessories for them including guitar strings, tuners, capos, guitar picks, guitar stands, wall hangers, cases, etc., etc. Other musical merchandise and services we offer include sheet music, music books including piano methods and school band books

Jessica is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where she played in the spirited USC marching and symphonic bands (Go Trojans!) while earning a difficult B.A degree in neuroscience.

She began playing flute at the age of nine and strarted to play competitively at the age of twelve. Since then, Jessica has performed with many ensembles; including the Southern California Youth Philharmonic, several community bands and even appearing in the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena. As the principle chair, she began teaching flute lessons in high school, and has really enjoyed teaching ever since. She loves watching her students gain confidence as their musical abilities grow, while sharing her enthusiasm for music.

In addition to flute... Jessica enjoys composing music, playing the guitar and is also an accomplished piccolo player; having performed as a soloist with several local orchestras and choirs. You will enjoy your time with Jessica!

Paul began his professional career as a jazz performer in the 1990's. It was at that same time that he discovered his love for teaching sax, clarinet and flute. While it was certainly rewarding for Paul to see his students excel and even become leaders in their school bands, there was something missing. Paul found that in general his students could play and read the notes very well, but unfortunately many had no concept or experience in the most exciting aspect of music; CREATIVITY. And so, Paul developed a unique teaching style that has proven over time to increase students interest in playing (practicing) along with increasing their proficiency on their instrument.

Private lessons with Paul will help musicians of any age learn how to compose their own music, improvise melodies as well as read music. Whether it's Jazz, Blues, Classical, Rock or Movie Themes, Paul will find a style that increases interest and practice time. “I've often had parents bring their son or daughter to me as a last resort. Their child had signed up for the school band program but wasn't enjoying it. The parents figured they'd try a lesson or two since they had already paid for the rental. I have yet to have one of those students not come back the next week with a new interest in music.”

Paul Dubbs has a B.A. in Music from Colorado Christian University. He has toured with bands from LA to Denver. His performances and music have been featured on TV commercials and TV programs. He's lead youth worship teams, conducted wind ensembles, and composed for TV programs. Over his many years of teaching, Paul has mentored over 200+ students in the music.
