Miss Susanne has that rare combination of talent, experience and passion that you want in a good piano teacher. With her positive energy and outgoing personality, Susanne has an ability to motivate and encourage her students - as demonstrated by her many years of successful piano teaching.

Susanne's piano education includes advanced study at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada and private study with many great teachers; including Leigh Unger, Rita Fusek and Dr. Earl Voofhies. Susanne also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton.

Susanne has been teaching private piano students in Orange County since 1982, including several years of teaching at the prestigious corporate-owned Yamaha Music Center in Irvine. Miss Susanne is currently offering In-home Lessons on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We think you will LOVE the musical gifts that Susanne will be able to share with you and your family.

Ms. Dongping (Angela) began learning piano at the age of four, under the guidance of renowned professors at both the Central Conservatory of Music and the China Conservatory of Music. She began her piano teaching career after receiving an undergraduate degree in music education in 2000. And then she completed the intermediate teacher course certifications at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. Over the past 20 years, she established her own music studio and gained extensive experience in piano teaching. She moved to California in 2020 to earn her M.B.A. with a 3.8 GPA. As an active member of MTNA and MTAC, her next study goal is to pursue a master’s degree in music psychology to enhance her teaching ability even further. 

She is passionate about teaching piano to the K-12 age group. Her educational philosophy is to foster students' curiosity and interest in learning music and piano in a positive teaching environment, thereby continuously enhancing their artistic appreciation. She excels at communicating with students and identifying their talents. Dongping possesses enough skill, love and patience to help music lovers of all ages in South Orange County. Of course, she can provide bilingual instruction in both Chinese and English.

Jackson Jarrett has been playing guitar for over 15 years and teaching for more than a decade. His guitar expertise spans a variety of genres, including rock, fingerstyle, jazz, metal, and indie rock. With over 30 million streams on his band's music and extensive touring all across the country, Jackson brings real-life experience to his teaching.

Jackson enjoys nothing better than sharing his passion for music with his students.

He encourages his students to have a growth mindset, embrace challenges and most of all enjoy the learning process. Jackson is an excellent guitar instructor.

Eddie is a special teacher. Having formal education and training from the Orange County School of the Arts, Berklee College of Music in Boston, along with ongoing studies in Music Psychology at ASU, Eddie strives to help his students build a joyful and lifelong connection to music through confidence, creativity, and expression.

He teaches guitar, ukulele and bass to students ranging in age from 9 through adult, from beginners to professionals. With over 15 years of playing and teaching experience in Orange County and 18 years of international performance, Eddie is able to blend his real-world musical expertise with a deep understanding of how people learn in order to keep his students highly motivated.

Michael Mekata is an independent music instructor and retired public-school music

educator with 38 years of experience in the Saddleback Valley Unified School

District. He holds a Music Education degree from CSU Fullerton and a California

Teaching Credential. With his extensive background, Mike offers lessons on most

orchestral instruments, with a primary focus on clarinet and saxophone.

Mike enjoys working with students who have a passion for learning music,

especially at the elementary and intermediate levels. His relaxed and encouraging

teaching style, along with his use of familiar popular tunes, keeps students

motivated and engaged.

Dr. Lauren Miller is a very highly qualified violinist and educator. In addition to playing many, many professional shows with the Florida-based HMI Orchestra - a cross-genre group that performs classical, jazz, latin, pop, folk and film music with a variety of well-known artists, Lauren has earned three advanced degrees including; a Bachelor of Music in string performance from the University of Colorado, and both a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.

Since moving back to Orange County in 2017 to be near family, Lauren has been performing with the Dana Point Symphony Orchestra and and accepting a few private students under her wing. Dr. Miller has a fondness for beginning students and as an instructor her goal is to promote physical and mental wellness amongst her students while bringing out their musicality and polishing their technique.
